The idea at our heart

Our story began with food. It has grown to include solar panels at a children’s home, jobs for single mothers producing incense, microloans, and support for education.

From our first food initiative in Vellore to monthly nutritional supplies for women and men living with HIV, nutrition remains part of our work.

How it began · Vellore, India

One daily routine.
A reason to carry on.

While working in India, Steven Anandan began sharing boiled eggs with people outside the hospital. When he returned to Norway, he wanted that simple act of care to continue.

With help from his cousin in Vellore, the idea became Daily Eggs. Food distribution began in early 2017, followed by establishment in Norway in January 2018. The work has since expanded into solar energy, livelihoods and education.
